The forceps injury that caused his famous "droopy" face is the reason to the birth of Stallone. This accident caused the loss of a nerve, which left the actor completely speechless. Stallone experienced a rough childhood. Stallone and his younger brother Frank, were adversely affected by their parents' hostile relationships, and eventually culminated in divorce. Stallone was a part of his childhood living in foster homes. Stallone when he was just five years oldwhen he took his family with him to Washington, D.C., which is where his father began his own line of beauty salons. Stallone has spent a lot of time in Maryland in the same house with his father from 1957, when the couple divorced. He was a struggle in school and also emotionally as he was forced to leave various schools.
